A personal project, born from a need
Orometra was built by an algorithmic trader who optimizes EAs in MetaTrader 5.
Why it exists
Every MT5 optimization ends the same way: a table sorted by result, with the best pass on top. That pass is often the most fragile one, a peak that happened to fit those exact data. MT5 has no native way to tell whether a configuration is robust: whether its neighbors also work, whether it holds up in the forward, or whether the result could be chance. Orometra was born to answer that, first for personal use.
What it does, in short
Instead of taking the top of the table, it looks for plateaus (zones where similar configurations also work) and tells you plainly how much evidence backs them. How the engine decides.
Principles
- Your files never leave your computer: the analysis runs in your browser.
- A fixed, written method: same files, same result.
- No promises: it does not predict the market or guarantee returns.
